I believe in innovation. When I was at university between 2016 and 2020, some professors told me that it was impossible to do R&D in parallel with classes. When 2 classmates and I created our startup in January 2017, we understood that the challenge is enormous, the risk of exclusion high. But we believed in one thing: it was possible to differentiate yourself, to carry out professional activities in parallel with studies. In 2019, after years of hard work, sacrifice and patience, two of the startup's co-founders graduated and guess how: by supporting the startup project. I led this team, I motivated them, I convinced them that it was possible to go all the way. Today I am on a new adventure, after “Conceptech” (my first R&D startup) is done. I believe deeply in innovation and I love challenges. I initiated “Kolutesystems” (my second startup) with a friend with whom I share the same values, the same conviction, the same entrepreneurial culture. Now, I'm looking for more. I want more. I want to experiment more. I want to discover myself more. I want to learn more. I have been in Silicon Valley for 4 weeks during 2019, I participated in a program named “Hero Training” at Draper University. It allowed me to deeply understand how startup are created and scaled, how to build unicorns, and the most important part: I built a huge network of people worth knowing. Before that, I spent one week in Hamburg, where I discovered their technical innovations in mechatronics which allowed me to have better understanding of the reason why Germany is a fast-growing market in technology adoption. Added to 4 years of working in a R&D startup, these experiences help me better understand challenges in technical fields such Electrical components choice, mechanical constraints, electronic and embedded systems design and software product development.
I was in charge of the development and evaluation of a new strategy for online retailers and governments.
CONCEPTECH is a startup of research and development created in 2017 by 6 students in engineering. I was in charge of the planification and execution of the R&D strategy which was to find technical and financial support from the academic and business world.
I was in charge of the management of a newly build lab at ESP. The vision was to build an ecosystem for local students, innovators and challengers. I was helping in the product development, the skill training for young people who wanted to create disruptive products.
Within the framework of an exchange program between the Polytechnic School of Dakar and the University of Hamburg (HAW), I took part in a jury of evaluation of the projects of the students of HAW. I worked with teachers to establish the basic rules of rating mechatronics students
I was selected by DER, a local agency for youth and women entrepreneurship, to study at Draper University. The Hero Training was an immersive and fully residential learning experience of 5 weeks. It was created for ambitious entrepreneurs looking to build their skills, expand their network and get started in starting a business. I pitched my startups and I was able to build a huge network at the heart of the innovation in the world.
